On January 10, 2023 during an eye doctor appointment, an ophthalmologist discovered that Ja’Leah had lost total vision in her left eye. Concerned that the issue was more than just sight-related, the doctor immediately sent her to the ER for an MRI, where multiple tumors were found on her brain.
Just two days later, on January 12, Ja’Leah underwent brain surgery. Now receiving exceptional care at St. Jude, Ja’Leah is on a treatment journey with the support of her dedicated medical team.
The Jones family has faced many challenges recently. On January 4, 2024, their home and vehicles were shot up while they and their children were in front of the house. Despite these tribulations, their faith in God has brought them through, and they are grateful for their lives being spared.
